Hello Everyone!

I have some good news and some bittersweet news! The good news is... I am back to work with a HEAVY workload in my chosen career path, even with a promotion that I am excited about and enjoying what I do. WHOO HOOO. The bittersweet part is...

I have almost NO time to work on my bags these days.

I went back to work this past summer, working about 50+ hours a week... and it hasn't let up yet, I see that as a good thing!!! Soooo, with my workload combined with some personal family issues that have come up, this leads to not being able to work on my bags as much as I need to. I have had a few bag orders come in over the past few weeks and I am just not able to complete any bags on a timely fashion. I am not ready to throw in the towel just yet and say I cannot accept ANY bag orders. But, please contact me before making a purchase to so I can see what my schedule looks like and give an estimated time on how long it will take. So, if you are flexible and willing to wait we can go from there.

Update on New Croc Bag!

Good Afternoon!

This is an update to my last post about the new Brown/Gold Croc! Here is the first bag finished using the new fabric, I think it turned out wonderful! (But I am a little bias)

Hello Everyone,

This listing is for a custom order for a new Client Lisa R. Lisa is with Traci Lynn Jewelry, as far as I know this is my first tote for this line of Jewelry. While working with Lisa, we found a new Brown & Gold Croc that we think will go great with their Jewelry and Company Colors.

Below is the new fabric we found and once I have a new bag completed with it I will update this listing.

This "Buy Now" button is a Stephanie Tote (Black Body and Brown/Gold Croc), it includes a Magnetic Flap Closure, Outside Side Clear Vinyl Pockets and an interior zipper pocket.

Good Sunday Morning to Everyone!

I wanted to take some time and show everyone some pictures of a Brag Bag in use. A HUGE "Thanks!" goes out to Vicki F. for sending me some pictures of her bag in actual use. Vicki ordered a Quinnley Original and even though she wanted it for personal use (as opposed to a product display bag) she chose to have keep the large Clear Vinyl pocket and use it to show off a Scrapbook type page to show off more pictures of her beautiful little girl! I have had a few customers order a bag for this idea, this is just the first picture to actually show it in use.

Hello Everyone!

I am so Happy that 2010 is here!!! And well one it's way! If you have visited my blog recently and saw that I was on vacation, I must admit that unfortunately I was NOT able to have a 2 month Vacation, LOL! I have actually been quite busy and updating my blog was in the "I'll get to it later" pile ;)!

I do have a new purse to show you today. This is actually a custom order from one of my repeat Etsy clients, Thanks Angie! For her purse, I actually added more Croc fabric to my supply, Purple and Black. This is Quinnley Original style, however, Angie wanted to have 2 outside zipper pockets instead of the normal open clear vinyl pockets. I think this option might appeal to a broader audience.

Anyone Need A Tote Cover?

Hello and Good Afternoon!

I have just finished up making my First Ever "Amber" cover... Thanks for the idea Amber :)! I have been working on this idea with Amber, going back and forth on how she would like her "Beautiful Purse", for probably the better part of 2 months. Amber decided on a base Maureen Purse with the upgraded Pink Croc. She chose to have the Outside, side pockets - but instead of having them full height and clear vinyl, she chose to have them cell phone height and in the main body material. If anyone is interested in this option you are welcome to it. I have actually had lots of interest in the side "Cell" pockets :)!

Amber also needed to have a more "Conservative" purse for a few places she visits (like work!) so she asked if I could make some type of cover that could be attached when needed. We went a few rounds on ideas, and discussed a few options and found a few that just did not work for one reason or another. We finally decided on this option and I think it ended up being sooo cute. I am going to also offer this "Amber Cover" option to anyone who might be interested in it. With a standard purse (not Croc) it will run $20 and in the Croc it will run $27.

Back in the Swing of Things!

Hello Everyone,

I am so happy to be back in the swing of things in the Quinnley Designs cyber world. I thought October was a crazy busy month and it ended up that November was just as much! I have had a NUMBER of orders to fill recently and have just taken a few pics of a few that I am wrapping up. I hope to have them posted over the next few days.

The Tote I would like to feature today is from my Client Joise! Joise was actually the winner of my recent "Give a way" and she decided to go ahead and place an order for a full sized bag! Thank you So Much Josie! I certainly appreciate it :)!

Josie ordered a Quinnley Original with a black base and Red Suede contrast band, she chose to have the following features added: Magnetic Flap, Custom Embroidery, Outside Side Vinyl Pockets and an Inside zipper pocket! She also has black piping added to the flap to give it a little extra character. If you like this look and would like to add to your purse, please contact me for pricing and color options, not all colors are available.

You will see in the picture of the inside of the bag, the inside zipper pocket. This is a new feature that has been added to my list of options that I think everyone should consider. I did not have one in my the first purse I made and realized how much I valued it when I didn't have it. I was sure to add it to my 2nd bag :)!

Here is another one of the Totes I mentioned that I wanted to get listed! This is one of my Mini Totes! This is another one of my Mini Totes, similar to the 1st Breast Cancer Fundraiser Bags that I posted!

This Tote measures approx 7.5"Tall x 10"Long and 3.5"Deep. It comes with a Pink Ribbon Embroidered on the pocket of one side and the opposite side has 6 smaller pockets to show Pic of loved ones so you can "Brag" about them! The base of the bag is a Med Brown faux baby emu (which basically means it has small darker brown dots on it) and a Pearl Pink contrast band. New Basket-Weave Tote! For Breast Cancer Fundraiser!!!!

Hello and Happy Friday!

Here is the last bag that I was hoping to get posted last night but I needed some supplies to finish it up so it ends up being posted today. This is my second Breast Cancer Tote to show you. It is more of a smaller Brag Bag style tote bag than a purse. It has the similar 6 picture display windows, then instead of having a larger clear pocket I made a pocket out of the regular basket-weave material and and then embroidered "Fight Like A Girl" on it! It has no closure feature nor inside pockets.

You will notice that tote is made out of a basket-weave looking material, I found a company (thanks Fred!) that sells some fun pink fabrics. When I got the sample I thought it was similar enough to the Croc that I had been looking for so I decided to give it a try. This fabric is closer to my typical price point so there will not be a surcharge for it. You may notice the beaded handle too, since I could no longer find handles similar to the original Scrapbook Tote I made I have decided to hand make similar ones. If you look closely at the handles you will see there are a few rhinestone spaces used to give it a little more "Bling".

This tote ends up having a few of what I call my "Lessons Learned" I thought the grommets would be a cute addition, and I think they are, but it up that the handles not work well with them.

I would originally price this bag at $29, but for my "Lessons Learned" I am going to offer it at $24. If you would like to purchase this bag or if you would like a your own custom bag please email me!

Another Pink Croc Creation!!! - Scrapbook Tote!

Hello Again :)!! I guess 3rds the charm?!?

This is the 2nd example Croc that I made. As you can see I have only used it as the Contrast Option. You still get the idea of the Croc look, but it save a little in the wallet doing it this way!!! This is the first of my "Breast Cancer Awareness" bags that I am doing. I have not taken a picture of the inside but it does have a Pink Ribbon theme.

This bag is actually available and can be yours for only $47. It is a Scrapbook (AKA Kathie) tote with typical handles, it includes an additional inside Cell Phone Pocket and has 2 exterior outside pockets instead of the 2 interior pockets.

This purse is a custom personalized Gift. My customer, Danielle, kindly ordered a Quinnley Original for a special gift for her Mother (maybe her MIL, sorry Danielle! I jsut can't remember!) Since this was for a gift for someone that is NOT a product consultant, we decided that it would be nice to have some the custom embroidery in lieu of the "Catalog" pocket.

1st Pink Croc Purse

Happy Sunday Everyone!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend, mine was pretty packed. In between my prior commitments for this weekend I have been able to finish one of my planned example Pink Croc Bags.

You will notice this is a "Quinnley Original" purse. I have used the Croc for both the contrast band (which I guess in this situation is no longer "contrast") and the main body. I included additional outside side pockets and additional inside pockets. You may also notice that I included an inside zipper pocket. I have had several requests for this feature so I will be adding it into my regular options, I hope to have this incorporated in the next few days.

My next example bag will be a "Scrapbook Tote" which is basically the same as the "Kathie" tote. It will have the Pink Croc as contrast but will use Black as the main body color. I am working on some handmade beaded handles similar to the first scrapbook tote which I hope to have worked out in order to incorporated into it, if not it will have the regular straps. I am also expecting additional fun pink fabric in the next few days, please check back soon!

I wanted to make a QUICK post this morning to let everyone know that I have FOUND PINK CROC!!!!!

I am currently working on 2 example bags to see how it is to work/sew with (and there are always "Lessons Learned" when designing or making something new!) I do want to let everyone know that this material is a bit more pricey than the price point I try to stay with-in so there will be a premium for the material. I wanted to share some pictures with everyone. These pictures were sent to me from a client who recently received her new tote. She emailed to tell me how much she loved her bag and was kind enough to send pictures of it actually in use! Tracey was actually my first client to purchase thru my new website and store... Pink Mini Tote - Up For Grabs!!! FREE!

Good Evening and Happy FRIDAY!

I wanted to showcase a new tote that I made. It was crafted for a marketing campaign to get more exposure to my new Website, in hopes of generating some exposure. This tote can be yours by simply registering for it thru the "Order Now" button on my main web page at www.quinnleydesigns.com.

Once the store home page opens you can find it thru 2 locations on this page, the "Monthly Drawing" tab near the top of the page or thru the "Latest Products" section near the bottom of the page. Here is a Custom order for a Scrapbook Tote that will be a shower gift for a new "Bride to Be". She is a scrapbook lover that is using Fall Colors for her November Wedding. This is similar to the precious listing same bag, size and measurements but unique colors. Introducing the "Joy" Purse

Hello and Good Morning!

I would like to take a moment to introduce you to the new "Joy" bag. I worked with a lovely young lady thru a few design rounds trying to find the perfect purse so that she could show off her Jewelry, yet still have her Young, fresh and funky style. A huge Thank You goes out to Joy H.!!! She was a delight to work with!!

This purse is a modification to the "Stephanie" purse, we have added top flaps over the pockets and an extra 1" in the width, with those changes we thought it would be enough change in the look to call it the "Joy" bag! Another addition to this bag (that I may start incorporating in my other bags) was the addition of 2 inside zippered pockets. I tried to show this in one of the pics but it is difficult to see.

Here is a general guideline for size and pricing for the Joy Bag:
$48 - Basic Bag - Includes the following features:

General Measurements are 9”Hx 12-1/2”Wx 4”D
- Fully Lined Interior (fabric varies)
- Color Contrast Band
- 2 Inside Pockets
- 2 Inside Zipper Pockets
- 2 Window Pouches with Zipper closures and top flap that are approx. 5-3/4”x6” for bulkier items
- 1 Pocket 12-1/2”x7” with top flap for Catalogs or larger Pics
- 25" - 26" Straps, these are custom made as well and not pre-market lengths, so there might be some variance from bag to bag, I have found handles shorter are difficult to work with as an over the shoulder bags.

Additional options can be included:
$10 - Top Flap with Magnetic Closure
$8 - Custom Embroidery
$8 - 2 Additional Outside Side Vinyl Pockets
$6 - 1 Business Card size Pocket
$5 - 2 Additional Inside Pockets

You may note that the interior fabric is unique to what I typically use. Joy actually found her own interior material and mailed to me. If you are interested i could do the same for you.

Good Evening Once Again!

It just isn't as late today. I have new product idea to show you today. The idea for today's post comes from an etsy.com customer. We went thru a few different designs that didn't work for one reason or another and finally settled on more of a "Portfolio" style. We also, thought it would be nice to use a black suede-like material for the back/inside. That way, when she has an impromptu jewelry show, the suede fabric will show off the jewelry nicely.

Details:
- The overall size of this portfolio, when opened out measures approx 17" across the top and 36" long, not including handles.
- There are a total of 24 pockets on this portfolio, 18 on the outside - 9 on each side and 6 on the inside/backside 3 on each side.

The pockets come in several sizes, I tried to offset the vertical lines so that the center of the pockets were not aligned, the center tends to be the bulkiest so my goal was to try and off set them.

- There is also a Frog style closure at the top. By design they have a bit more flexibility in use so I thought this style would work well for this design.

*Please note - this portfolio would need to be picked up by BOTH handles, the pockets do face different directions so if you picked it up with just one handle, the bottom half of the pockets would be upside down!

At this point I am trying to decide if I want to offer this in my store, so it is exclusively on my blog (I may add it back onto my etsy site, aquinngt.etsy.com, to see how it does there though!) I am starting the pricing at $65 to see what kind of interest I get from it. I would love to get your feedback on this (or any of my other designs.)

Introducing... The Sharon Tote!!!

Hello Again Ladies!!!

Today I would like to introduce you to the new Sharon Tote! The idea for this tote comes from my 1ST Corporate Client!!! Sharon L. and Daisy Blue Naturals were kind enough to take a chance with me to produce their new Consultant Totes. A HUGE THANK YOU goes out to Sharon L., Jena T. and Daisy Blue Naturals!

This bag is a larger tote version mixed with the Kelly Tote size and the Stephanie Purse. It measures approx 9" Wide x 13" Tall x 4" Depth.
It has 2 zippered pouches on one side that are approx 4-1/2"W, The other side has 1 full size pocket. It starts with a base price of $48. As with my other 'Bags' this comes with the Color contrast band and I will be able to add the following additional Features a la cart:

Stephanie Purse with a Twist

Hello to All!

The idea for today's bag comes to you from an Etsy.com (aquinngt.etsy.com) customer, Minha. A Special Thanks goes out to you Minha!!! Minha is an independent jewelry designer for more upscale jewelry, she liked the idea of the pouches On the "Stephanie" purse but didn't want them the clear vinyl so so that everyone knew she was carrying high end jewelry, but still wanted to have the jewelry easily accessible. Since Minha designs and makes her own jewelry she does not have a need for a catalog pocket so she wanted to incorporate some of her personal jewelry into the display area. I chose not to "compartmentalize" the display window because I thought it would take away from beauty of the pieces so I chose to have the window as more of a "canvas" to display the art!

I am presenting this bag today so show everyone that you are not limited to just what is shown in my pictures. Steel Blue Faux Suede!

Good Morning Ladies!

Today's bag is a Quinnley Original that I made to use and carry as an advertisement for myself. This bag is made from the Steel Blue faux suede that I have listed in my options. In addition to the basic features this bag includes the flap with magnetic closure, custom embroidery and 2 additional inside pockets, so the price for this bag would be $63. I actually included an inside piture to show how large and roomy it is, everything fit well and I can actually see what it in my purse, without having to take a lot of stuff out!

New Fun Fabric

The first purse that I am showing today is a version of the "Stephanie" purse. I wanted to showcase it to you because I think the new animal print fabric is such a fun print! The idea for today's bag comes from a Lady who is an independent jewelry designer who needed something different than a Catalog pocket. A special "Thanks" goes out to you Bridjet! She choose the Stephanie bag and wanted to have the zipper pouches on both sides. I think it turned out Beautiful if I do say so myself! Even though it is a modification of the Stephanie bag I will go ahead and call it the Jet bag. You may notice that Bridjet choose to add the additional Outside Side pockets so hopefully which you can see in the 3rd Picture below.

Introducing the "Kathie" Tote

Hello Ladies,

Today's bag comes to you from suggestions from my client Kathie M, (a special thanks goes out to Kathie!) who was looking for a tote that is a little more light weight than my typical totes. In the bag shown Kathie preferred a linen like material but other materials can be used with the design.

This tote measures approx 11"W x 12"H x 4.5"D
It has 4 pockets on one side that are generally 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
As designed, the opposite side has a larger pocket that will hold a 7W" x 11H" catalog, please note that this pocket can be wider if needed.
Kathie chose to have 2 outside pockets instead of the inside pockets so I am happy to offer this to any one else if you would like to do so.

As with my other 'Bags' this comes with the Color contrast band. This Kathie Tote will start with a base price of $39 and I will be able to add the following additional Features a la carte:
$10 - Flap with Magnetic Clasp
$8 - Personalized Embroidery
$5 - 2 additional pockets (to make a total of 4, 2 inside and 2 outside, side pockets. Please note, these additional outside pockets are NOT clear vinyl, they are the same material as the main body fabric.

As for a business card pocket on this tote, the only real way I could offer this feature would be in lieu of the flap closure, with the typical feature price $6.

Intorducing the "Kelly Tote"

Today I am introducing a new Tote to you. Up until now I have been using the terms purse, tote and bag interchangeably. Well, today I am introducing a bag that really is more of a Tote bag and not necessarily a Purse. This tote is a little taller than it is wide and is more rectangular than tapered as seen in my previous purses.

This Tote Measures approx 9" Wide x 13" Tall x 4" Depth.
It has 6 pockets on one side that are approx 4-1/2"W x 3-1/4"T
The other side has 1 full size pocket.
As with my other "Bags' this comes with the Color contrast band.

I am currently working on a few more bags. 1 is a tote similar to this one and the Stephanie, it will be a little larger than this one posted today. I am also working on a Purse that is made with a little more light weight fabric and is a little smaller than my other purses. The 3rd one I am working on is what will be a "Scrapbook" page purse, it will have a window that will show an 8x8 scrapbook page! Here is my lateset Creation! A special Thanks goes out to Stephanie (and Janie) for their suggestion to use a zipper below the flap! This Purse is different because in addition to the access to the product display windows it also offers larger 'pouch' type displays for bulkier items and includes 4 places to hang items so to keep everything from falling to the bottom. This tote is also more squared off instead of being tapered up the sides.

$45 - Basic Bag - Includes the following features:

New Feature!!!

Hello and Thanks for looking at my Blog.

Today is a short post. No new Bags! But I have been busy, busy! Since I am starting this venture along side my Fulltime Career, I wanted to find a way to keep things organized in a way to keep the production moving smoothly AND be able to see what is on the horizon. Today's Tote

Hello again!

Thanks again to everyone who is following my posts. I have a new tote to show you all today. This tote comes from Ms. Kelly W. of Alabama. She just Loves the Lime Green color that is popular this season so this is what we came up with, we hope you like it too! The contrast of the green color works well against the black but I think it might also look nice with brown if you want to consider the option!

This is Kelly's first of 2 totes, she was wanting this to be more of the Basic design. She chose to exchange out the Contrast Band for an Embroider ID instead. She also chose to add a 2nd Embroidery option. So this cute tote, with the additional embroidery option runs only $48, plus shipping.

These was a "lesson learned" for me while making this tote, so I wanted to let you know... due to the limitation to my embroidery field, it would be best to keep names to about 10 letters (12 max, this was 15.) I do hope you like the tote and would love to hear constructive feedback. If this bag sparks your interest but are thinking of another color, please inquire, I will do my best to get your color!

Introducing the "Maureen" Bag

Hello LADIES!!!!

Here is my lateset Creation! A special Thanks goes out to Maureen for her wonderful suggestions! This Purse is different because it has the access to the product display windows on the inside of the bag!

In the picture above, notice the inside access flaps to the exterior window!

This is what I am calling a "Prototype" for the design, there are still a few kinks that are being worked out, which means for a limited time I will offer them for a discounted price.

Latest Jewelry Distributor Tote

Hello Ladies,

Here is the latest example of my totes, it is almost identical to the previous bag but seems to have better pics. This is an example of it being used for a Premier Designs Consultant. I have included a pic of the inside so you can see the 2 inside pockets. In addition to the standard bag this totes includes a flap and Custom Embroidery, you will notice that this flap has piping added to accent the flap, this is a new feature that can be added for $4, so this bag would run a total of $62.00!

I have had several requests for Custom Distributor Totes and they are currently in the design phase. If you have a particular request for a feature, please contact me and I will be happy to come up with a design for you. It turns out the new custom totes are being named after the person who is making the Design Request. I am currently working on the Maureen, Stephanie and Lorie bags, who knows my next bag could be named after YOU! Thank you for visiting my new blog. My name is Ashley and I am in the Architecture and Construction industry. Due to the economic turn of events and current economic climate, I am in need of turning to more sources of income by creating my own "Economic Stimulus" plan and not relying on my "Day Job" as my only source.
